Acorn Press Limited was established as a not-for-profit company in 1979 to publish books written mostly by Australian authors to meet needs in Australian society and the Christian church.
Since 1979, Acorn Press has published a wide range of books – ethics, theology, Bible studies, biography, spiritual issues, cross-cultural mission, world religions, indigenous affairs, women’s leadership, as well as ministry and pastoral care.
Acorn Press publishes books for Australians, which are thoughtful, well-informed and written from a Christian perspective. We want to produce books which challenge readers to think about the issues we face in twenty-first century life and to enable us to effectively engage the world we live in. We don’t only sell books. We support writing we believe in.
