Robert and Linda live in the Blue Mountains, NSW, and enjoy visiting and learning about other places and cultures, most recently China. Robert has taught in university history departments and in theological colleges both in Australia and overseas. His numerous writings, several of which have won national and international awards, span the spectrum from academic to popular. Topics include biblical studies, faith and work, Christianity and popular culture, servant leadership and new forms of church life. Linda has worked as a teacher, educational consultant, AFES staff worker, university chaplain and pastor. She has had a particular concern for international students and a strong interest in researching Australian evangelical biographies. Together they have produced creative Christian resources for both adults and children, several of which have focussed on the writings and film versions of C.S. Lewis’ Narnian Chronicles.

On writing …

Robert and Linda have had an interest in writing from an early age. From the beginning of their Christian ministries, they had a shared concern to help people become biblically and theologically literate as well as put their faith into practice in every area of life. Individually and jointly they have sought to do this across a range of genres, including scholarly works, Bible study guides, margarine articles, reference books, dictionary entries, popular biography and children’s drama.
